Opposition parties stage countrywide demonstrations against inflation
During the last few decades, there have been some pretty ugly things said and written against our elected officials, but in the realm of economics, when the opposition parties try to stage countrywide demonstrations against inflation they are playing with fire. That's because, as the party hacks are pointing out, when the government increases the price of goods and services the cost goes right back down to where it was before, only that everyone has increased their spending, not the shrinking economy. They are basically trying to take everyone's money and run up the debt, while blaming the supposedly greedy politicians who don't want to increase the inflation rate.
Of course, most of the people who complain about inflation generally can't afford the goods and services that are increasing in price. And they say that they didn't see this coming. Okay, maybe you didn't see it coming, or you hadn't noticed all the rising prices for the same items that they said didn't go up in the first place. But if you were paying attention, then you would have noticed the inflation. And if you're a consumer then I'm sure you realize that when the price of goods and services go up, then you get cut back or your shopping rebate is reduced, and that means you have to pay more money to the retailer, which means you have to buy more things, which means you have to spend more money, which means you will end up in debt, which means you might have to file for bankruptcy, and if you file for bankruptcy now, then who knows what other companies might pick up, because you just filed for bankruptcy and they weren't even notified.
It's funny how the opposition parties say the Obama Administration should do something to stop inflation, when it is the Obama Administration that has done nothing to stop inflation, and in fact hasn't done anything to help the economy at all, because they say the problem is too much regulation, and over regulation, and too high taxes on the corporations. They blame all the economic hardships on the Bush Administration and his economic policies, and yet, they supported him, and voted for him. That's strange, isn't it? Maybe it's time to take a look at some of the opposition flyers that are being distributed around here in California.
"The Bush Administration's Tax Payers Bill of Rights is an Unjust Attack on Consumer Freedom and Wages", that is what the flyer says. Then down at the bottom it goes on to say; "Don't Know Much About Healthcare? The Facts About Health Care are in the Link Below". Now then, I'd like to take a question from you. Would you agree that the flyers are telling the truth, or are they full of propaganda?
My answer to that is no, the flyers aren't lying to you, but rather the opposite. They're merely stating the facts as they actually are. And by the way, the reality of inflation is going to bite the hell out of middle class Americans when it gets there, because they'll have nowhere else to turn, because the costs of health care and insurance will be so darn high. And then there will be fewer jobs. Okay so, let's talk about this for second shall we?
After all, one of President Obama's top advisors said this during a radio show, and I quote; "We will not tackle the driverless car phenomenon, or the Internet. We will not tackle green energy, or Medicare supplemental insurance, or even termites. But we will attack inflation, and I believe that's our duty and our mandate." See you on the flip side.
